As a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT) for our Pregnant and Parenting Women's Program, you'll gain invaluable hands-on experience while working toward your SUDP certification. In this dynamic position, you'll play a key role in supporting participants through every stage of their recovery journey. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with flexible hours. The location is in Bellevue, and the pay is $25.80 - $30.80 per hour.

Requirements

• Provide individual and group treatment assessments. 
• Develop and implement treatment plans and concurrent treatment plan reviews reflective of the participant's voice.
• Ensures prompt, accurate clinical documentation
• Able to perform clinical work in an efficient and effective manner and work to achieve THS productivity and quality standards.
• Provides advocacy, case management, information and referral services, and wrap-around services in an outpatient setting.
• Develop a working knowledge of drug treatment facilities and treatment modalities in King County and throughout Washington State.

Minimum Qualifications:

•  Associate Degree in Social Services/Sciences or related field from an accredited college/university 
• Current involvement as a student and/or trainee in the process of becoming a Substance Use Disorder Professional.
• Current WA State Department of Health SUDPT with the completion of your first 50 hours of training hours. 
• Must meet standards for qualifications as a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee per WAC and possess the SUDPT credential. Documentation of training and education necessary to meet and maintain qualified status is required, including the date of qualification as a SUDPT.
• Must have knowledge and experience in substance use treatment, family dynamics, and counseling.
• Able to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Able to work effectively in teams and perform well under pressure.
• Maintain a professional image within the community at all times.
• Drug-free for a minimum of three years immediately prior to employment and no misuse of alcohol or drugs while employed as a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Computer proficiency is required, including learning electronic medical records systems and effectively documenting client records.
