Community Collaboration & Justice-System Coordination

  • Serve as a clinical liaison to community partners to ensure coordinated care and accountability.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with:
    • DUI/DWI Court and Drug Court programs
    • Probation and parole officers
    • County social services
    • Schools and juvenile services
    • Law enforcement and community corrections
  • Participate in court staffing meetings and multidisciplinary case consultations.
  • Provide clinical updates and documentation consistent with proper releases and confidentiality laws (HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2).
  • Support oversight of services for court-ordered or justice-involved clients.
  • Represent the organization in community collaborative initiatives to strengthen rural service access.

CCBHC & Integrated Care Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with mental health providers, medical staff, care coordinators, and peer specialists within the CCBHC model.
  • Support access to care initiatives, including timely evaluations and service engagement.
  • Participate in quality improvement, documentation review, and compliance activities.
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate staffing levels and service capacity in a rural setting where workforce shortages may occur.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota LADC (Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor) in good standing.
  • Meets qualifications for an Alcohol and Drug Counselor Supervisor under Minnesota SUD program requirements, including:
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience providing individual and group counseling to clients with substance use disorders.
    • Demonstrated competence in clinical supervision.
    • Completion of required supervision training consistent with Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy expectations.
