SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER

Required Qualifications:

• Possess and maintain a valid CDL license.


• Meet requirements for a background check and fingerprinting.


• Graduation from accredited high school.


• 21 years of age or older.


• Alternative applicable qualifications may be considered.

Job Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Capable of attaining certification through the Michigan School Bus Safety Education course.


• Will provide training for qualified candidates.


• Must be dependable.

A successful candidate will be able to:

·         Exceptional patience with school-age children.

·         Work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to ensure a positive school climate.

Salary:  As per negotiated district contract.
