Substitute Teacher

Position Summary

Calvary Port St. Lucie / CCA is seeking dedicated and dependable Substitute Teachers to support our school community on an as-needed basis. This role plays a vital part in maintaining classroom continuity, supporting students, and upholding our Christian mission and educational standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out daily lesson plans and instruction in the absence of the primary teacher.
• Maintain classroom management, structure, and a positive learning environment
• Support the school's mission, culture, and community impact. 
• Adhere to all school policies, safety guidelines, and administrative procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree. 
• Prior experience in an educational setting. 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use office equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move materials up to 25 pounds.
