The Substitute Teacher is responsible for delivering instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This description outlines the position's primary duties; however, substitute teachers may be required to perform other job-related tasks as directed by their supervisor or the School Principal to ensure smooth school operations.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent for short-term assignments required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: Prior teaching or substitute experience preferred.
Substitute teacher wages will be based on experience and within the SY 2025-26 Salary Schedule range.
