Substitute Teacher - Janesville

Substitute Teacher – Part Time/Part Year (hours vary per week) at any of our Janesville sites. This is an hourly position at $17.60 an hour. The substitute teacher will work collaboratively with other site and classroom staff to provide educational experiences appropriate to the growth and development of each of the 3-5 year old children assigned to his/her care or 0-2 year old children assigned to his/her care. This position requires the ability to stand, sit go up and down stairs, ride a bus, use fine motor skills among others. The ability to write and speak in English and Spanish is preferred.

This position requires at a minimum to have a CDA credential or a state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA credential, are enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate or baccalaureate degree or, are enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of the time of hire. Associates Degree in Early Childhood is preferred.
