SUMMER ACCOUNTING REPRESENTATIVE (SEASONAL)

Looking for Summer work and have a passion for working with numbers? We're now hiring for Accounting Representatives to fill extra needs over the next few months. Hiring for both Full Time and Part Time, with positions starting immediately or as soon as you are available. This is great learning opportunity for financial/accounting students on summer break. This seasonal role will end on August 29th, 2025, unless extended.

Summary:

Under general supervision and following established procedures, the Accounting Representative is responsible for the accurate posting of payments into our systems on a daily basis. This is a great entry level position to get your foot in door into the world of accounting in a well establish legal office environment.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Identify all incoming mail
• Scan and post payments using our system
• Balance Bank Deposits
• Work with Management to research and correct errors
• Some clerical work
• Accurate and timely Data Entry
• Other Accounting duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 6+ months professional working experience preferred
• Accounting experience preferred, but not required

• Extreme attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• An ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivation

Mandatory overtime may be required on Mondays and last business day of the month due to increased workload volumes. No Weekends.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role operates in a professional office setting, routinely working with standard office equipment. Generally, due to the nature of this office position, the person in this role would be required to talk and hear, sit or stand for long period of time, and use their hands and fingers, to handle and feel. Occasionally required to walk, reach with arms and hand, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required by the job include close vision.

Wage Disclaimer: The starting wage for this position is $18.00/hour. The wage range for this position is $18.00/hour to $21.00/hour.
