Camp Pa-Gon-Ki in Londonderry is seeking Program Specialists for the summer 2025 season! If you are looking for a fulfilling summer job where you can lift up others in your community, gain valuable management experience and cultivate positive culture change – this is the opportunity for YOU! 

Our camp, a traditional outdoor summer day camp serves youth ages 5-12 while coaching campers to build relationships, try new things, make memories, and ensure camper safety all while having fun and acting as positive role models. We strive to build supportive and empowering teams to help all team members show up as their best and most authentic selves, so that you can learn, grow and thrive during your tenure at the Y. 

The Program Specialist is responsible for planning activities and curriculum for their designated program area, facilitating activities to groups of campers ages 5-12 and supporting in other areas of camp as needed. This is an excellent opportunity to take your area of interest, develop your own program, and practice project management skills throughout the summer. Take your expertise and share it with others and make their summer one to remember! 

Program Specialists needed for the following areas: Arts and Crafts Specialist, Nature Specialist, Adventure Specialist, Sports Specialist and Nature Specialist. 

Additional Responsibilities: 

• Build positive nurturing relationships with campers 
• Build cooperative relationships with coworkers and supervisors 
• Engage with campers in a way that fosters Character building 
• Uphold the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Courage 

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of two years’ experience in your program area 
• Some college credits preferred 
• Must be available to attend camp trainings before and during camp season 
• Able to bring a patient, caring, responsible, flexible and positive attitude to work 

Position Specifics: 

• Camp season runs 6/18/25 through 8/22/25 and must be able to work a majority of the camp week
