Job Title: Summer Clinic Assistant

Location: Ocracoke Health Center - Ocracoke, NC

Employment Type: Temporary (Summer)

Schedule: We are flexible between Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm!

We’re a busy, people-centered medical clinic serving the island of Ocracoke, NC. We’re looking for a reliable and friendly individual to help support our team over the summer months. Whether you're a student interested in healthcare, someone looking for meaningful seasonal work, or just a quick learner who enjoys helping others—we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients at check-in and check-out
• Answer phones and schedule appointment
• Provide basic office and clinical support (filing, room prep, stocking supplies)
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with room turnover
• Help with general cleaning, organizing, and running errands (as needed)
• Support clinic staff with special projects or tasks

Requirements

• Friendly, dependable, and eager to learn
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with computers and multitasking
• Prior experience in a medical setting is a plus but not required
• High school diploma or current student (college or rising senior in high school welcome)
