POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Join us this summer at the YMCA, where we are dedicated to building strong communities and fostering personal growth. We are excited to announce a Summer Hiring Event on Thursday, May 8 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM! Please ensure that you sign up at the link above to schedule your interview. We will be looking to fill a variety of positions across our organization. Whether you are looking to work with children, support community programs, or contribute to facility operations, we have a place for you!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage with community members and promote YMCA programs and services.
Assist in the planning and implementation of recreational activities and events.
Provide supervision and support to participants in various programs.
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all members and guests.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid (Training provided by the Y, if needed)
Must be at least 16 years of age or older (14 - 15 year-olds are eligible to apply after completing YMCA Teen Job Training)
Passion for community service and youth development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Previous experience in a related field is a plus but not required
Leadership and teamwork abilities
Problem-solving skills
Time management and organizational skills
Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
