POSITION DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engage with community members and promote YMCA programs and services.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of recreational activities and events.
• Provide supervision and support to participants in various programs.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all members and guests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid (Training provided by the Y, if needed)
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older (14 - 15 year-olds are eligible to apply after completing YMCA Teen Job Training)
• Passion for community service and youth development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Previous experience in a related field is a plus but not required
• Leadership and teamwork abilities
• Problem-solving skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
