Looking for a hands-on summer job that gives you real-world experience in mechanical systems, problem solving, and field service?

KC Mechanical is Vermont’s leading provider of Commercial Kitchen Appliance Repair, Installation, and Preventive Maintenance. We’ve supported restaurants, schools, and commercial kitchens across Chittenden, Lamoille, Washington, Franklin, Orange, and Addison Counties for nearly 30 years—and we’re growing.

This is a paid summer position ideal for students in or interested in engineering, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other technical programs who want to apply what they’ve learned and build field experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

· Assisting experienced technicians on service and installation calls

· Handling parts, tools, and equipment

· Learning to troubleshoot and solve real-world mechanical problems

· Gaining exposure to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

· Supporting active job sites with staging, clean-up, and light mechanical work

Ideal For:

· Students! Preferred but not required is a student in engineering, HVAC, or technical/trade school programs

· College or High School students looking for a summer job

· Anyone mechanically inclined and eager to learn

What You’ll Need:

· A great attitude and willingness to learn

· Ability to lift 60 lbs, push 100 lbs, and pull 50 lbs

· High School Diploma, GED, or active student status

· Reliable transportation to the greater Burlington, VT area

Job Details:

· Full-time summer position (Monday–Friday)

· W2 hourly employment – not subcontracted

· Competitive hourly pay

· Uniform and training provided
