Have you worked as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer? Are you a paraprofessional or teaching professional who is seeking extra income over the summer? As a Jovie Preschool Assistant, you will provide care for children— infants through elementary school age— at a beautiful child care center with extensive resources and an engaging curriculum

Dates and Hours: Summer 2025 – Must be available a minimum of 60 days, Monday – Friday, between May 19th and August 29th, 2025. More availability welcomed. Overtime paid at 1.5 hourly rate over 40 hours per week.

We provide:

Pay: $20 per hour

CPR and First Aid Certification
Opportunity to pick up assignments during school or other work breaks.

Here’s what you can expect:

Care for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years
Engage in hands-on activities based on the children’s interests and skills
Ensure the safety and engagement of children within your care
Work with children of all walks of life and backgrounds
Quality work in beautiful child care centers with extensive resources and an engaging curriculum

About you:

You’re available at least 3 days per week (M – F) to work 4 - 9 hour shifts between 9am - 5:30pm
You genuinely enjoy children and are an engaging, creative, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and similar activities
You want to make the most of summer and create memories
You bring at least 1 year of childcare experience as a babysitter, nanny, camp counselor, teacher or similar responsible caring
You can provide our team with 3 references, 2 related to working with children, paid or unpaid, as well as 1 character reference
You’re at least 18 years of age or older
