SUMMARY
As part of Project AGILE – Aftermarket Global Improvement with Lasting Effects, CPM Industrial Solutions is launching a transformational approach to field service excellence. The Super Service Technician will serve as the preeminent technical expert in field service execution, customer interaction, and aftermarket performance.
This strategic, high-impact role combines deep mechanical expertise, global field experience, and customer-facing leadership to drive growth and deliver sustainable improvements across our service operations worldwide. The technician will set the standard for best-in-class service, support training and development of field teams, and help shape global aftermarket strategies through real-world insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Field Service Leadership
  • Deliver expert-level on-site service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for industrial processing equipment.
  • Lead by example to raise standards for safety, precision, and customer satisfaction.
  • Model “best practice” service behavior for internal teams and global customers.
  • Jointly develop best practices for maintenance and training of onsite personnel at targeted customers
  • Act as the key interface between CPM and customer for all service related topics in the assigned region
  • Collaborate onsite with customer personnel to achieve optimal plant operation
Technical Expertise & SOP Development
  • Design, document, and train on scalable SOPs, safety protocols, maintenance protocols and diagnostics tools.
  • Partner with global engineering, HR, and sales teams to refine tools, training, and systems across regions.
Capability Building
  • Mentor and develop regional service teams in technical competencies and customer interaction.
  • Support internal technician development and certification processes.
Commercial Support & Growth
  • Serve as the technical partner to the Americas Aftermarket Sales Director to drive service-related revenue growth.
  • Identify field-based commercial opportunities and collaborate on playbooks and hunting lists by region.
  • Provide feedback for pricing models, inventory alignment, and service agreements based on market needs.
 QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years’ experience in field service, maintenance, or operations in industrial manufacturing (preferably in food, ag, bioenergy, or related sectors), pelleting, chicken, hog or biomass production a plus
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical capability.
  • Strong communicator and leader, able to interface with engineers and operators.
  • Ability to effectively train others of varying skills and backgrounds. 
  • Experience with SOP development, training delivery, and field-based team leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and recognize commercial opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically
