Super Vac Buyer/Purchasing Agent

Super Vacuum Manufacturing Company is an established locally owned family business that manufactures fire equipment and emergency vehicles that help our communities to save lives. We are looking for an energetic, self-starting Buyer to join our team. If you are interested in joining a team that helps to build equipment that helps save lives, please apply.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory management


• Working with vendors to order and track shipments


• Material handling


• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in Product Supply, Manufacturing Systems (Supply Chain)


• Strong Interpersonal skills and effective communication skills


• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
  


• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and twist


• Must be able to obtain a forklift certification


• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical agility test, criminal background check and drug test


• Is results-driven, self-starter, achievement oriented, and takes a proactive approach in getting work accomplished


• Comfortable operating within a fast-paced environment


• A degree in supply-chain management a plus but not required

Hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Compensation: $20 - $25/Hour DOE

Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
