Superintendent

Description

We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Civil Utilities Superintendent to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in various heavy civil utilities-related tasks to support the completion of construction project. 

Key responsibilities

• Effectively manage sewer and storm utilities for highway, bridge,      demolition, and concrete paving projects.
• Oversee multiple heavy civil  projects at once
• Schedule material and equipment deliveries and procurement.
• Prepare weekly  look ahead      schedules on all projects.
• Approve daily /weekly payroll and production reports.
• Attend weekly client project progress meetings
• Conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Coordinate submittals of all change orders as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Superintendent:      5-10 years (Required)
• Supervising      experience: 2 years (Required)
• Experience      working with utilities in a construction setting
• Experience      coordinating with municipalities or state agencies related to 
• Experience      working with water, sewer and storm utilities 
• Ability to      read blueprints and understand project specifications
• Understanding      of OSHA regulations for construction sites
• Strong      supervisory skills to oversee laborers on-site
• Proficiency      in using software like Bluebeam for blueprint reading and project      management
• Heavy Job or Raken field management      software knowledge preferred
• Heavy equipment experience preferred
