Superintendent

Seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of a construction site, ensuring the project stays within budget and meets company and quality standards.

Pay: $40 - $45 an hour, Based on Experience
Location: Within a 60 mile radius of Madison, WI
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM – OVERTIME

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and execute the project plan as laid out by the Project Manager, schedule and ensure compliance with budget, schedule, plans, and specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities.
• Supervise and direct laborers, carpenters, concrete finishers, trade partners, and material suppliers.
• Manage all field operations and coordinate with other company Superintendents and trade partners to ensure that all activities are contracted in a timely manner and do not disrupt project schedule and/or budget. Ensure that all trades have up to date drawings and information.
• Advise General Superintendent and Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences or schedule difficulties while assisting in resolving such conflicts; anticipate and resolve project issues and schedule difficulties.
• Coordinate equipment, crews and other job related activities to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain the project’s daily logs and jobsite inspections.
• Maintain accurate and up to date drawings.
• Understand and promote company Safety Program to create a safe work environment throughout the jobsite; adhere to the safety and record keeping requirements; integrate Company’ Safety Program in all site specific plans and procedures to ensure a safe work environment; adhere to all safety and record keeping requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred but not required
• Employee exhibits and abides by Employee Success Formula (Top 18)
• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
• Possess a valid Driver’s License
• Strong knowledge of safety policies and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a task-driven environment
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
• Demonstrates the ability to work with a strong work ethic, reliability, teamwork and flexibility
• Possess a professional demeanor
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to self-motivate
