We are seeking a full-time skilled and experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the field operations within our Concrete Department. This role is responsible for ensuring that concrete construction projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Concrete Superintendent will oversee crews, coordinate with Foremen, and collaborate closely with Project Managers to achieve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise concrete Foremen and crews to ensure adherence to plans, budgets, specifications, and schedules.
Pre-plan and coordinate all concrete activities including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Conduct pre-construction inspections and ensure site readiness for concrete work.
Monitor ongoing concrete operations to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.
Review job cost reports, track production metrics, and recommend cost-saving adjustments or change orders.
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols; enforce daily checks and compliance with MOT requirements.
Communicate effectively with clients, general contractors, and project teams to address scheduling, changes, and concerns.
Provide training, coaching, and leadership to Foremen and crews to enhance skill development and job performance.
Ensure accurate documentation of field activities, plan modifications, and production results.
Represent Bonness Inc. professionally on job sites and during all stakeholder interactions.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a foreman or in a similar role in road construction, particularly with an in-depth knowledge of utility installation techniques and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Proficient in the operation of heavy equipment used in underground utility work
Strong leadership and communication skills, versatile, and flexible
Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record, and ability to travel to various job sites

Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs in various weather conditions
Must be able to safely access heavy equipment and work zones
Noise exposure ranges from moderate to high (traffic and machinery)
