NAI Burns Scalo (NAI BS) is seeking a results-driven Superintendent to lead construction activities in the field, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and up to our signature standard of excellence. You'll be the eyes and ears onsite—overseeing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, resolving issues, and driving progress forward.

Requirements
Field Leadership & Project Oversight
Maintain a constant onsite presence and lead subcontractors to deliver high-quality results.
Manage project schedules, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination to align with project timelines.
Conduct daily inspections and oversee site cleanliness and quality control.
Run subcontractor meetings, preparing agendas and meeting minutes.
Safety & Compliance
Administer and enforce all safety protocols for NAI BS and subcontractors.
Report and assist with investigations of any accidents/incidents.
Support inspections by outside agencies.
Project Execution & Documentation
Manage punch lists and project closeout processes.
Monitor daily work activity, documenting work orders and field conditions thoroughly.
Evaluate and coordinate material and equipment delivery to stay ahead of schedule.
Team & Stakeholder Relations
Build strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring fairness and accountability.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, internal team members, and the architect/owner team.
Lead by example and uphold the "Owner’s Eye" policy across all job sites.
Administrative & Strategic Duties
Provide leadership and mentorship to assistant staff or field crews.
Monitor budget adherence and identify potential cost-saving measures.
Contribute to company initiatives, including process improvements and training.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business (relevant experience may substitute).
Attended and graduated from carpentry school (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman, or Project Lead. At least 3 years as an Assistant Superintendent.
OSHA 10 Certification (OSHA 30 preferred).
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PlanGrid.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, materials, and code requirements.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
