How You’ll Contribute
As a Ground Up/Industrial Superintendent at Gardner Builders, you'll be the on-site lead for construction operations, balancing the details, managing field teams, scheduling, and serving as a point of connection between trade partners, clients, and your internal project team. Physical Demands & Work Environment
This role is active and hands-on. You'll spend most of your time on construction sites, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing ladders, crouching, kneeling, and occasionally lifting materials. You’ll need clear vision, good hearing, and strong communication to stay safe and effective. Some desk time is required for updating schedules, reviewing plans, and sending project updates.
You’ll work in a mix of environments from climate-controlled buildings to outdoor sites in all kinds of weather. Renovation projects may involve exposure to existing materials or conditions that require extra precautions. PPE is provided and expected when needed. Sites can be loud, dusty, and fast-paced, and we count on our superintendents to lead with safety and professionalism.
