We are hiring a Supervising Pharmacist to run our Smithtown location. This is a lead role with real autonomy. You run the pharmacy, the team, and the prescriber relationships, and you are paid on how the location performs.
 

What you'll do

• Serve as Supervising Pharmacist: licensure, compliance, controlled substance recordkeeping, inspection readiness
• Run daily operations and dispensing accuracy
• Hire, train, and manage the technician team
• Build relationships with local prescribers and specialty practices
• Grow the patient base through outreach, reactivation, and manufacturer programs
• Own the location's numbers and work directly with ownership on performance

• You own outcomes. When something goes wrong, you fix it before you explain it.
• You would rather grow a book of business than protect one. We do not wait for patients to walk in.
• You think like an owner, and you may want to run your own pharmacy one day.
  

What Makes This Role Different

We do not operate like a traditional pharmacy that waits for patients to show up. Nobody walks past us. Every patient we have is one somebody went out and earned, which means part of your week is spent on gaining prescriber offices and on reactivation, not only behind the counter. Pharmacy should be proactive, not reactive.

• Active New York pharmacist license in good standing, eligible to be named Supervising Pharmacist
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians
• Immunization certified
• PioneerRx experience a plus, not required
