Supervising Physician - Urgent

Job Summary:

Phoenix Health Practitioners is seeking a skilled Supervising Physician to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

- Act as a supervising physician for Nurse Practictioners: Perform chart reviews, hold meetings with assigned NPs as needed.

- Diagnoses and treats patients for disorders on a general level, without restriction to special systems or regions of the body; serves as the general practitioner to patients for general diagnostic and therapeutic medical care

- Serve as the key medical administrator overseeing the clinical activities of Primary Care clinicians within the practice

- Oversee quality and utilization metrics for providers and the practice and act as a change agent for practicing clinicians within the healthcare centers around the areas of quality, service, people, finance and growth.

- Coordinate patient care with specialists as needed

- Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

Requirements:

- Actively licensed as MD or DO in good standing

- Board certified and in possession of a valid DEA certification

- Ability to act as supervising physician for nurse practitioners

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
