Job Description - Supervising Speech Language Pathologist
Full-Time and Part-Time Roles Available
Make a Difference. Supervise. Lead. Grow.
Are you a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) who finds purpose in developing others and championing clinical excellence? Do you thrive in a vibrant, team-driven environment where innovation, support, and professionalism are your daily playbook? ICAN Children’s Therapy welcomes you to lead with impact and help shape the next generation of pediatric speech therapy.
Who We Are
ICAN Children’s Therapy is a therapist-owned, multidisciplinary pediatric clinic with two locations in Bellevue, WA. Serving children from birth to 18 years, we deliver hope and build brighter futures for diverse families. The Opportunity
The Supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) is a key leadership role, focused on elevating the clinical performance and growth of our SLPAs (Speech-Language Pathology Assistants). Drive Quality: Oversee assessments, re-evaluations, and write progress reports for the SLPA caseload.
Family Engagement: Conduct regular parent trainings and support sessions to foster family involvement and progress.
Evaluate & Support: Perform initial evaluations; cover sessions as needed and provide makeup visit availability.
Collaborate: Partner closely with occupational/physical therapists and administrative leaders for wrap-around, multidisciplinary care.
Mentor & Lead: Model ICAN’s values in all facets of supervision, fostering a positive, growth-oriented, and team-centric environment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records.
Department Goals: Assist in operational and quality improvement efforts.
What You’ll Bring
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (from an accredited institution)
Active Washington State SLP License
ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience
Experience supervising SLPAs or Clinical Fellows
Proven skills in communication, documentation, mentorship, and organization
