Supervisor - 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift

Unica Enterprises is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, responsible individual to join our team as a Supervisor. In this role, you oversee daily site execution, support team leads and frontline staff, and help ensure that work is completed safely, on time, and to customer standards. The Supervisor role is a key bridge between frontline teams and site leadership and is critical to building consistency in quality, coaching, communication, and accountability across shifts.

• Builds a culture of coaching, fairness, and accountability 
• Catches quality and attendance issues early 
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training 
• Helps employees understand what good performance looks like and how to grow 

Key Responsibilities 

• Supervise day-to-day work for assigned crews, shifts, or site areas 
• Set daily expectations and help leads organize work across the team 
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and quality checks 
• Coach employees on performance, safety, attendance, and site expectations 
• Support onboarding through shadowing plans, check-ins, and early follow-up 
• Reinforce huddles, training topics, and policy reminders 
• Track attendance issues, callouts, and performance concerns and escalate as needed 
• Partner with HR and the site manager on documentation, coaching, and disciplinary follow-up 
• Monitor supply levels, equipment readiness, and shift coverage 
• Respond to customer concerns and resolve routine service issues in a professional manner 
• Help create a respectful, consistent work environment across shifts and teams 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Prior leadership experience in custodial, janitorial, facilities, or related operations preferred 
• Strong knowledge of cleaning processes, safety expectations, and quality standards 
• Ability to supervise multiple employees and shifting priorities 
• Ability to document issues clearly and communicate them appropriately 
• Ability to work effectively with HR, site leadership, and frontline staff 
• Experience leading huddles, coaching employees, or supporting onboarding preferred 

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements 

• Combination of hands-on floor presence and supervisory work 
• May support evenings, overnights, weekends, or multiple shifts based on site needs 
• Frequent movement throughout the site 
• May be required to wear a uniform and use PPE
