Requirements

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee coordinate the daily activities of 8 forklift operators within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Shift Supervisor will ensure efficient operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and mentor team members. The warehouse environment may or may not be climate-controlled.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct forklift operators to meet daily operational targets.
• Safely operate a forklift to move and stack lightweight cans and materials as needed.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols and compliance with company standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and oversee team adherence to maintenance schedules.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks and ensure workflow efficiency.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to forklift operators.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of inventory and task completion.
• Ensure trailers and equipment are safe to enter before loading.
• Complete correct shipping documentation and system transitions to ensure proper shipment and inventory accuracy
• Ensure prompt communication with clients, drivers, and guests

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years team lead or supervisory experience
• Minimum 3 years of forklift operation experience
• Proficiency in inventory management systems or willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification required.
• Physical ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly and work in varying temperature conditions..
