Job Description - Supervisor - Day Services

Supervise the day to day operations of Day Services. Responsible for supervising and assuring proper staffing patterns by reviewing staff schedules to ensure coverage of clients, staff training and any other staffing issues relating to the direct supervision of staff. Completing Intakes, ISPs and quarterly reports. Overall responsibility of activity planning and community outings.

Services

Beyond Disabilities provides Sponsored Residential and Supportive In-Home Services for people who have developmental and other disabilities. In-Home Supports are offered both in the person’s home and in their surrounding communities. The services provided include support with personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing; support with mobility, food preparation, eating, money management and behavior intervention.

Support is provided for activities related to the use of community resources such as transportation to various community venues, shopping, accessing restaurants and partaking in social and recreational activities.

These supports are normally provided one-on-one in the person’s home or out in the community by professional, trained staff. Each staff person receives extensive training including First Aid/CPR, behavior intervention, human rights, infection control and orientation in the characteristics of developmental and other disabilities.
