About the Job

Connected & Alien Labs are seeking a dynamic and motivated Supervisor, Field Marketing to lead field operations in our California regions. This role is responsible for driving best-in-class retail execution, managing a high-performing team of Brand Ambassadors, and owning all aspects of how our brands show up in-store and across the market.

As the key Supervisor, Field Marketing for your territory, you will partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to bring our brand to life in the field—while ensuring operational excellence in scheduling, logistics, day to day team oversight, and territory management. You’ll also work directly with top dispensaries, building relationships with their marketing and buying teams to support growth and drive impact at retail.

This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the cannabis industry. Candidates must be based in the territory specified and comfortable working in the field multiple days per week.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that all trade marketing activities are aligned with overall business goals, identifying and executing in-store growth opportunities and aiding the sales team in opening new accounts.


• Oversee all field marketing operations in the territory, including scheduling, labor allocation, and executional oversight.


• Manage and mentor the day to day local Brand Ambassador team, ensuring consistent performance, professionalism, and alignment with brand standards.


•  Build and maintain the weekly schedule for field activities—including demos, store visits, events, and special projects—while monitoring total hours and budget usage.


• Act as the main point of contact for field support needs in the region, including asset deployment, printed materials, swag inventory, and demo equipment.


• Own the visual presence of Connected & Alien Labs in retail across the territory, ensuring all merchandising, signage, and display elements meet brand guidelines and are maintained regularly.


• Partner with the local Sales team to align on retail priorities, ensure strong store relationships, and support new product launches and account growth.


• Coordinate logistics for field-based initiatives, including product and swag ordering, inventory tracking, and storage unit organization.


• Serve as the on-site lead for events and retail activations in the region, ensuring high-quality execution and team support.


• Track and report weekly field data, including store visits, merchandising updates, BA performance, retail impact, and execution KPIs.


• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and external vendors to bring campaigns to life and ensure all field efforts are aligned with broader business goals.

What We Are Looking For

• 2-4 years of experience in Field Marketing, preferably in the Cannabis industry.


• Strong understanding of the retail landscape across California. 


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with retail partners.


• Ability to manage time and activities of 6+ part time team members while also meeting individual KPIs.


• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, G-suite, Slack. Experience with marketing automation tools is a plus.


• 21 years & older.


• Valid California driver’s license, personal car insurance, and reliable transportation.

Compensation Description (annually): The salary range for this position in the selected city is $70,000.00 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
