Supervisor (Invista Plant)

Provide directions to a group of service operations personnel on a shift. Assist personnel as needed on assigned tasks to meet quality objectives. Inspect completed work and give daily reports to Account Manager.

Must be able to successfully pass all customers and company required training courses, annual re-qualification, and background investigations, including drug and alcohol testing. Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Perform duties involving bending and walking throughout the shift. Work will include duties outdoors, in various weather conditions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• On-Site interface daily with shift Account Manager.
• Analyze quality of operations and take corrective action.
•  Plan and ensure adequate supplies and necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks according to contractual agreement and company standards.
•  Ensure compliance to contract of all special services. Special service requests must be handled in 24 hours or as requested by customer.
•  Evaluate methods, procedures and materials for purposes of improving performance and reducing cost.
•  Ensure implementation and adherence to safety practices.
•  Ensure equipment meets safety standards and is operated in a safe manner
•  Audit and monitor quality of service operations for the group. Report results of audit to Account Manager and take corrective action where appropriate.
•  Prioritize work assignments for absent staff.
•  Schedule work related assignments or change of assignments as requested by Account Manager.
•  Perform payroll and billing responsibilities in the absence of Account Manager.
•  Discipline, Hire & Terminate employees in the direction of the Account Manager
•  Support other work groups as requested/needed.
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to pass pre-screening site-specific exams and training material
• Must be able to pass a background check

Working Conditions:

• 40 hours a week (subject to change)
• Working in extreme temperatures (cold/hot); exposed to loud noise for extended periods of time

Physical Requirements:

• Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
• Lifts up to 50 lbs.
