Supervisor, Laboratory

The successful candidate will supervise metallurgical laboratory operations and technicians. Monitor the quality control data obtained through lab analyses of incoming core samples, reagent samples, and engineering samples. Ensure that work follows safety rules, environmental policies, and procedures. Responsible for lab facilities and operations.

What will you do?

• Responsible for administering laboratory safety and housekeeping programs along with

• supervising the operation and maintenance of lab equipment.

• Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure

• employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance

• standards. Manage performance issues when necessary.

• Develop and coach employees in order

• to retain and grow organizational talent.  

• Support employees in their career development at

• Mosaic.

• Review and reconcile field and raw data to quality control data.

• Supervises metallurgical lab operations.

• Provide feedback to mine services team and senior laboratory supervisor.

What you’ll need:

• Diploma: Chemistry preferred

• 5-8 years of Related Experience required

• 1-2 years of Supervising Experience preferred
