The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the upkeep and repair of facility systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, organizational ability, and leadership skills to manage a team of maintenance staff and coordinate daily operations effectively.
Requirements
Role and Responsibilities
Coordinates and distributes assignments in the daily cleaning and maintenance of the building and its systems.
Evaluates and performs preventative maintenance of both the building systems and manufacturing equipment.
Responsible for the training and safety of maintenance workers.
Coordinates with management on performing these duties in a timely, cost-effective manner that is in keeping with the contractual obligations of the company

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
7+ year's experience in the maintenance of a manufacturing facility
Good communication skills
Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles
General knowledge of local building codes
Type 1 refrigeration license preferred (HVAC)
Advanced electrical/mechanical knowledge
Basic plumbing and carpentry
Ability to interpret drawings and schematics
Training Requirements
HAZMAT Training
OSHA Compliance Training
