Supervisor - Operations (Rough Rider)

Summary:

The Supervisor - Operations position will oversee all I&E and mechanical maintenance within their area; while ensuring we uphold a successful safety record.

This position will adhere to all Partnership policies and procedures and operate within its budget set forth annually by the Partnership. This position will be in Watford City, ND and is a key component in ensuring that assets are properly maintained.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Direct supervision over I&E and mechanic technicians.

Supervise day-to-day maintenance tasks to meet required production rates and monitor data to minimize problems and downtime.

Administer performance reviews for direct employees.

Effectively plan and coordinate all maintenance-related projects and ensure they are completed on time and within the agreed budget.

Effectively and quickly coordinate the procurement of various equipment, parts and materials needed for maintenance activities to prevent equipment downtime.

Manage work orders and aid in developing the computer-based maintenance management software (SAP).

Coordinate and further develop an effective and thorough preventative maintenance program.

Develop and maintain procedures to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Develop and administer training courses to ensure personnel qualifications are maintained to comply with all regulatory requirements.

Maintain a working knowledge of company policies, procedures, environmental regulatory and permit requirements and other applicable regulations and standards.

Respond to EHS incidents through prompt and thorough reporting, incident investigation, root cause identification and follow-up action item implementation.

Implement safe work practices and participate in a proactive safety culture while ensuring safety for the employee, the public, and the environment at all times.

Properly maintain facilities in accordance with Company procedures, PSM, and DOT regulations and industry best practices.

Participate in DOT and PHMSA audits as well as maintain all required operational documentation to stay within compliance.

Job Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

High school diploma or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

A minimum of 8 years of industry experience is required for this position.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Computer Skills to include SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Must possess excellent communication skills.

Experience with budgeting and cost reporting.

Experience in Gas Gathering and Processing, Crude gathering and storage, and produced water gathering and disposal.

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

Usually, normal office working conditions.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
