About the Supervisor, Organ Preservation
The Supervisor, Organ Preservation assists the Manager, Organ Utilization in facilitating the day-to-day operations of the Preservation Coordinator (PC) team. The supervisor will assist in the daily supervision, training and performance evaluation of the Preservation Coordinators. This position is responsible for leading the organ preservation staff in efforts to maximize donation and organs transplanted per donor.
The supervisor is also responsible for assisting the Clinical Education team with developing and implementing all aspects of the PC staff training and continued professional development. This includes, but is not limited to, onboarding, didactic and clinical training, revising training materials, and coordinating training activities of new PCs and continuing education activities.
The supervisor is also responsible for the duties of the Preservation Coordinator role. This includes overseeing the living-related donation coordination and preservation process, and medical research and education. The supervisor is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining the call schedule, including PTO requests.
* Must have organ preservation / perfusion experience, and hold current industry certification – CTP or CPTC
* Must live within the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area or be willing to relocate. This is not a remote position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs other duties as requested by the leadership team. Maintains an environment that supports professionalism, teamwork, effective communication and displays DNA’s core values.
Schedule: Administrative duties are primarily Monday-Friday. Clinical shifts and AOC duties include responsibilities on nights and weekends. Clinical shifts may include travel within the state of Arizona via ground or air.
