In this role you will:

Provide treatments and Simulations for Patients in accordance with Physicians Orders
Participate in performance improvement initiatives for the radiation therapists.
Develop procedures and training for therapists on new equipment and treatments.
Schedules daily staffing for the simulators and accelerators and maintains monthly schedules
Make recommendations on employee hires, transfers, promotions, discipline
Coordinates the assignment of tasks and helps resolve technical and operational problems.
Provide effective direction, guidance, and leadership over the radiation therapists
Assist with ensuring adequate equipment and supplies for the radiation oncology department.
Supervise overall operations and processes and provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist
Review prescriptions and other treatment information
communicating basic information between the MD and the patient
Prepare equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices; and maintaining records, reports, and files.
Assist in dosimetry procedures and tumor localization.

We require:

5 Years EXP in a supervisory role Radiation Oncology
Extensive Charge capture and Radiation Coding knowledge
ARRT Certified
ASRT- NYS DOH License Active,
Graduation from an AMA approved radiation therapy program.
NYS license as a radiation therapy technologist
ARRT registration or current eligibility for ARRT registration is required.

Salary Up to 140k
