Supervisor - Residential Treatment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide guidance and direction to staff and encourage/build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members.


• Develop and follow budget for residential programs including food, safety and maintenance.


• Coordinate menu with dietician and have secure written dietician approval on a yearly basis.


• Develop and implement quality management requirements for residential program by determining criteria to be monitored, collection of data and compiling information for monthly, quarterly and yearly reports.


• Oversee orientation of new students with patient rights, review of handbook and signing all necessary paperwork.


• Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.


• Provide training for debriefing, de-escalation and restraint, safety, CPR, First Aid, Food Handler’s permits for all therapeutic and residential supervisory staff.


• Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing for clinical days and recreational activities.


• Provide transportation for patient as needed. May include driving of facility motor vehicle or coordinating transportation with appropriate staff member.


• Coordinate residential care with the academic and clinical team to ensure the residential program is supportive.


• Work as a BHA as needed.


• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.  When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.  Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
