In this role, you assign, supervise, and review the work of staff. You implement production plans according to approved schedules and participate in the full range of daily operational duties, performing the most difficult tasks as needed. As a Supervisor of Maintenance, you inspect and evaluate work in progress, identify problem areas, and direct remedial action. You conduct performance evaluations, prepare estimates for staffing, materials, and equipment, and maintain inventories and approve purchases. You also manage time, materials, and equipment use reports, train staff in safety procedures, maintain safety data sheets, and perform other duties as required.\n\n## What You Bring To Freeport\n\n * High School diploma or GED, and five (5) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience\n\n\n\nOR\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a technical mining-related discipline with at least one (1) summer internship experience (or equivalent) in a mining or industrial environment, including supervisory or lead experience\n\n\n\n## Preferred Qualifications\n\n * Experience with water wells and pumping systems\n * HDPE insulation repair experience\n * Experience with potable water systems\n * Water sampling experience\n * SAP \u0026 Microsoft suite experience\n * Minimum 2 years experience supervising operation and maintenance employees\n * Experience with air compressors, air delivery systems and controls, well water systems and maintenance, and water treatment for open and closed loop systems\n * HMI / DCS experience for controlling processes\n * Knowledge of the smelter and acid plant operations\n\n\n\nWhat We Offer You \n\nThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $93,000-$127,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
