 "THIS POSITION WILL BE OPEN TO ALL EMPLOYEEES CURRENTLY SERVING AS A STATION SUPERVISOR LEVEL I"

Position Overview:

• Supervise the procurement, distribution, and inventory of materials to support Stations Operations, Service Delivery, Station Maintenance/Facilities, Maintenance of Way, and Operations Support.
• Supervise hourly personnel in support offices and material distribution team.
• Perform inventory and inspections to determine material requirements.
• Act as a Liaison between all Divisional Operations and Material Control unit. Candidate must be available to work AM or Nights

Responsibility:

Compensation:

Station Supervisor I - (Lateral Transfer)

Education and Experience:

This position is only open to MTA NYC Transit employees who have a current status in the title of Station Supervisor Level I.

Desired Skills:

• Must have excellent operating and attendance record.
• Must have good customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to maintain inventory system.
• Must be familiar with MTA NYCT rules and regulations.
• Must have general computer skills. (Outlook, Word, Access and Excel)

Selection Method:

Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience and interview.
