Supplier Business Manager IV

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced supply chain professional for this individual contributor role. This role is at our Santa Clara, CA office and is not remote or hybrid.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Project Management: Leads projects as assigned by the Supplier Account Manager (SAM) in execution of the TCQC Supplier strategy set by the SAM. Also, leads projects as assigned by the SAM in execution of the commodity strategy\n * Tactical Resolution: Drives resolution to tactical supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-time for assigned Supplier Site and key sub tiers\n * Supplier Site Support: Provides tactical Procurement escalation support for assigned supplier site\n * Cost: Supports commercial and technical cost reduction programs\n * Capacity: Responsible for execution of Supplier Site capacity readiness programs\n * Site Implementation: Executes key supplier continuous improvement resiliency plans initiatives set by the SAM (including but not limited to manufacturing automation, vertical integration, sub tier management, etc.).\n\n\n\nFunctional Knowledge\n\n * Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field.\n\n\n\nBusiness Expertise\n\n * Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.\n\n\n\nLeadership\n\n * May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.\n\n\n\nProblem Solving\n\n * Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.\n\n\n\nImpact\n\n * Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by functional policies.\n\n\n\nInterpersonal Skills\n\n * Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree (Required)\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n7 - 10 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 20% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$124,000.00 - $171,000.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
