Supplier Development Engineer

• Analyze supplier capacity and investment requests

• Engage with suppliers and their supply chains

• Assess supplier weaknesses and implement corrective solutions

• Monitor high-risk suppliers to prevent operational disruptions

• Lead supplier problem-solving for identified issues

• Improve supplier production systems and processes

• Promote supplier operational excellence

• Set and maintain focused priorities to meet objectives

• Represent the organization at supplier sites and escalate issues when needed

• Follow company processes, code of conduct, and values

• Education: University degree (Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain preferred)

• Experience:

  • Background in supply chain, production, or supplier development

  • Industry experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing preferred

• Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork

  • High accountability; able to manage tasks independently

  • Project management in fast-paced environments

  • Customer-first mindset

  • Team-oriented with strong integrity and creativity

  • Flexible, with readiness to travel on short notice
