RIGHT NOW.\n\n##### \n\nJohn Deere is an equal opportunity employer, including disabled \u0026 veterans. \n\nPrimary Location: United States (US) - North Dakota - Fargo \nFunction: Factory Engineering (CA) \nTitle: Supplier Quality Engineer - 119530 \nOnsite/Remote:Onsite Position\n\n## Your Responsibilities\n\nAs a Supplier Quality Engineer for JD ISG located in Fargo,ND, you will be:\n\n * Works closely with external suppliers to ensure that products designed and manufactured for John Deere meet established quality levels using proven quality controls and quality assurance methods and tools. \n * Facilitate Design, Process, and Assembly Reviews with suppliers to ensure components received meet internal and external quality standards. \n * Responsible for component quality planning and analysis by formulating/facilitating quality plans for new or updated components within product development, and production.\n * Investigate supplier quality issues to determine root cause. Collects and analyze data to implement corrective, and preventative action to reduce/eliminate non-conformances.\n * Perform supplier assessments.\n * Lead supplier improvement programs.\n * Lead and/or coordinate containment activities due to non-conforming supplied components. \n\n\n\nVISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for this position. \n\n## What Skills You Need\n\n * Excellent communication skills: must be capable of communicating with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and customers in an effective manner.\n * Experience with drawing and schematic interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and applicable industry standards.\n * Knowledge of standard quality tools, such as FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, 8D Methodology, Root Cause Analysis, and MSA.\n * Five years working in an electronics manufacturing environment.\n * Three years of experience leading Design, Process, and Assembly Reviews with suppliers. \n\n\n\n## What Makes You Standout\n\n * Quality Management System experience. \n * Ability to facilitate activities at supplier sites to coach, teach, and lead all supplier personnel to successfully execute and accomplish the deliverables defined in the process improvement charter.\n * Ability to communicate project updates and all improvements achieved by the supplier to Deere Supply Management leadership and personnel to maintain a positive and productive relationship with the supplier.\n * Certified to lead supplier audits, such as, JDS-G223, Process Verification Audits, or Special Process Audits. \n\n\n\n## Education\n\nIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:\n\n * Bachelors degree in Engineering.\n\n\n\nWhat You\u0027ll Get\n\nAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
