Supplier Quality Engineer (A Group FATP_QA_SQE)-Houston,TX

Purpose of the position  
Supplier quality management & issue handling & customer service

 
Duties and Responsibilities     

1. Supplier Development & Qualification

2. Quality Issue Resolution & Corrective Actions

3. Supplier Quality Performance Monitoring & Improvement

5. Cross-functional Collaboration & Customer Support

- Work with internal teams to align supplier quality with product design (DFM/DFQ) . 
- Address customer complaints related to supplier quality and ensure resolution promptly. 
- Participate in New Product Development phases to mitigate quality risks early

Education and work experience  

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Material, or related field).
2. 2+ years of supplier quality experience in consumer electronics manufacturing and product analysis.
3. Proficiency in quality tools (SPC, FMEA, MSA, Six Sigma, 8D)
4. Strong communication skills for global supplier interactions

1. SQE working experience in SMT/Test/Assembly factory required.
