The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is excited to offer an opportunity for a First Line Supplier Quality Manager to lead the Supplier Quality – NoI/NoE Prime SIG Team onsite in Everett, Washington.
The Supplier Quality – NoI/NoE Prime SIG Team investigates suspected or confirmed quality escapement for Boeing Commercial Airplanes programs. This work involves working directly with suppliers, Supplier Quality Representatives, Procurement Agents, and Engineering to investigate potential quality escapements and ensure that nonconformances are identified and contained. This role is crucial to Boeing's ability to maintain safety and quality, while also supporting our suppliers with containment and root cause corrective action for their quality escapements.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable, people-focused leader with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, program teams, regulatory representatives, and executive leadership. They will excel in problem-solving and adaptability, addressing the unique challenges involved in supplier investigations. Additionally, they will interpret data to drive informed decisions, rectify inconsistencies in command media, and play an active role in growing and developing their team.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
3+ years of experience in leadership or management role
3+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
3+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
3+ years of experience in Material Review Board processes (MRB)
Experience leading teams including cross-functional teams
