Supply Chain Analyst

Job description

-Work in conjunction with the entire supply chain team at Shearer Supply: Residential, Parts & Supply, and Commercial.

-Purchasing and maintaining partnerships with multiple Shearer Supply vendors

-Expediting and maintaining sufficient stock across a large distribution network

-Negotiating pricing and payment terms with vendors

-Keeping balanced inventory while staying within a given budget across 15 warehouses company-wide

-Creating KPI’s and custom reports to measure performance and present to management and ownership; to include but not limited to:

• Gross profit optimization
• Price contract negotiation
• Inventory analysis
• Forecasting
• Vendor scorecards

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while performing desk-related tasks.
• Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones
• Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents clearly
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and via phone
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 lbs
• Ability to maintain focus and productivity during long periods of work.
• Ability to work in a standard office environment
