Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for reporting, analytics, and coordination of labor and other activities within Leslie’s 6 main distribution center. They will provide guidance and cascade information to distribution centers (DC) on forecasts and volume related information. The Supply Chain Analyst will improve the efficiency of the DC operations through data collection and analysis. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the labor planning and forecasting processes, and exceptional analytics skills.

They seek to make Leslie’s supply chain more efficient by reducing the cost and increasing labor units per hour, to deliver products to the stores and direct to consumer. When issues arise, the Supply Chain Analyst will use their expert knowledge of the supply chain to resolve problems and avoid SLA impacts or delays. The Supply Chain Analyst will use their interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from different areas of the company, to recommend ways of improving the data, reporting, analytics and approaches we use to plan labor and other improvements.

This individual will work with cross functional and supply chain teams across home office including:

  • Omni-Channel Analytics, DC Operations, DC Leadership within the Regional Distribution Teams, Inventory Planning, Ecommerce & Other Cross Functional Partners

Job Outcomes:

  • Collect data on supply chain operations, with a heavy focus on labor data points, WTD/PTD/MTD/YTD trends.
  • Continued enhancement of labor and forecasting reporting.
  • Cascading and communicating changes consistently to our DC teams to impact labor and staffing, specific to changes in forecast or volume to impact labor spend.
  • Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations.
  • Measure supply chain performance and report to management.
  • Provide additional support and reporting around vendor inbound compliance to DC locations.
  • Working cross-functionally with retail stores, fulfillment, information technology, and inventory operations to improve operations at distribution centers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management or related fields
  • Two or more years’ experience in a supply chain analyst role or related position
  • Knowledge of inventory management
  • Have a track record of building, monitoring, and optimizing labor or supply chain business KPIs.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data.
  • Familiarity with supply chain systems, labor systems or equivalents.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools.
  • Attention to detail.
