Position Summary:
Provide administrative support to the supply chain team, which consists of account management (inside sales), purchasing and sourcing. This is a full-time position with ideal hours of Monday-Friday for 40 hours per week. The weekly schedule is flexible and can be agreed upon with the Team Leader. Flexibility with scheduling is necessary to effectively support large projects and customer needs.

Essential Functions:

- Commit to FIELD’s Mission Statement, Core Values, and Fieldamentals.
- Manage multiple tasks, requirements, and pending status reports for both internal use as well as customer and supplier communications.
- Daily communication with internal Team Members, external suppliers both domestically and overseas, and customers.
- Process order entry based on customer requirements, purchase orders and vendor managed inventory scans
- Utilize various customer systems, portals, and purchase order forms.
- Analyze and execute purchase orders, including PO confirmations and expediting with suppliers as directed.
- Perform various clerical updates within our business system.
- Engage in cross functional projects and support functional areas within Supply Chain and across the organization such as operations, production, and quality.
- Proactively review, filter, and execute required actions on daily alerts generated from our business system which support customer needs and on time delivery.
- Monitor daily customer on time delivery and report exceptions.
- Back up office phones and welcome visitors as needed.
- Perform other office-related duties as assigned.
Education, Skills and Experience Required:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Polite and professional manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook. Advanced to Expert level Excel is highly preferred.
- Prior experience with Profit21 or similar business operating systems.
- Possess strong time management and organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with internal team members, external suppliers, and customers.
- Good comprehension and analysis skills, ability to operate with limited supervision.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decisions.
Additional Skills Preferred:
- Previous fastener knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
- Background in manufacturing or distribution.
- Business knowledge and experience working in a customer/supplier relationship.
- Associates degree or higher.
