Eaton\u2019s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Buyer. This role is based at our Davenport, IA facility. \n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe primary role is to obtain quotes with optimal pricing, generate compliant purchase orders, and communicate with the assigned supply base to ensure timely delivery of complex components and assemblies to the Eaton MSD Davenport Factory.\n\nIn this function you will: \n\u2022 Procure a variety of goods and services in accordance with company policies in an MRP/ERP environment. \n\u2022 Review and issue purchase-orders and make necessary changes to include: obtaining quotes, negotiating costs, payment terms, and related issues. \n\u2022 Expedite and track required parts or processes to support production schedules. \n\u2022 Serve as liaison between internal Eaton customers and suppliers. \n\u2022 Assist in resolving supplier related quality and billing issues. \n\u2022 Perform duties in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and other government regulations in accordance with Eaton policies and procedures.\n\n#LI-LD1\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications: \n\u2022 Associates degree OR high school diploma and minimum 2 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment\n\n\u2022 No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 70 miles of Davenport, IA to be considered.
