Supply Chain Management Planner

Objective of Job: 

• Provides production orders and demand numbers to raw material planning


• Scheduling and smoothing the lines to meet inventory targets, efficiency and general cost targets 


• Independent, cost-conscious production planning with the greatest possible adherence to schedule while maintaining stock target goals 

Principal Activities: 

• Provides work orders to production


• Adapt, update and optimize the HOST and Demand Viewer system planning areas


• Check open work orders and production groups


• Update change notices in cooperation with the departments


• Update KPI’s


• Define old and new revision levels in cooperation with change management


• Smooth the customers demand and coordinate with procurement, raw material planning and production


• Ensures production has no downtime


• Takes care for availability of empty containers to provide to production


• Gives priorities to production, transportation, warehouse


• Optimize processes in scheduling


• Communicates with customer contacts and maintains an effective business relationship


• Handle error reports and HOST lists


• Cooperates with production, quality, procurement, sales, change management and warehouse


• Coordinate changes with quality, change management, sales, raw material planning and sales order coordination


• Handle special situations (such as CKD, ramp ups, ramp downs, bank builds, spare parts, pre-series, individual)


• Provides production system support


• Ensures things are clean and neat


• Follows work instructions and safety guidelines

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent experience 


• Would prefer advanced vocational/technical training with several years of on-the-job training (knowledge of specialized methods, techniques, and processes and basic understanding of a body of theoretical knowledge) 


• 1-2 years of automotive experience 


• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft products
