Summary/Objective
H.A. Automotive is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to ensure our supply chain and logistics operations function properly. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Supply Chain and Logistics Team, collaborate with multiple customers and suppliers, and collaborate with other departments such as Operations & Finance to manage and meet the daily goal.
Essential Duties include but not limited to:
Create, update, and manage the Company’s supply chain strategy.
Purchase all raw materials
Negotiate and set up new vendors and purchasing contracts
Complete quotes and find sources for improved products, lowering cost and faster delivery
Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
Evaluate and report on KPIs
Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
Maintain supply chain inventory and records
Train and guide employees
Find cost effective solutions for supply chain processes
Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts, etc.)
Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
Manage the warehouse function including receiving of raw materials, shipping of finished goods, and organizing of both in the warehouse area
Communicate with customers on complaints and concerns, refer to customers’ complaints relating to quality or production to appropriate management
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers and customers.
Previous experience as supply chain manager or in a similar field
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP, MM)
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
Three (+) years’ experience as a supervisor, manager or similar relevant position required.
Experience with Automotive Exterior Lighting a plus.
Employment Type: Full Time- long term must be able to work in office setting
