Description:
Detail oriented individual required for conducting the testing of Raw Materials and Finished Product for US Based Concentrate Manufacturing Plant managing microbiological testing.
Accountabilities:
Delivers accurate and timely results of all raw materials and semi-finished components so that dispositions can be made ensuring no down time to the Operations Team.
Conduct micro testing of raw materials and finished products.
Oversee site micro testing program, including retrieving samples, plating, water testing, CIP validations and interpreting results.
Ability to analyze and interpret data, reporting results orally and in written documentation.
Maintains all records in accordance with Client protocol.
Maintains the stock of all Micro Lab consumables.
Leading by example with a clear commitment to personal safety, process safety, and food safety · Ability to analyze and process high volumes of information and manage multiple priorities in a timely manner, with precise attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy, and follow-through in problem-solving.
Compliance with all GMP, OSHA and Plant Safety Policies.
Responsible for maintaining and complying with all applicable Client, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards. ·
Authority to immediately address safety/quality risks
Qualifications / Requirements:
Experience working in a microbiology lab required.
Knowledgeable of media preparation & sterilization.
Demonstration of aseptic technique.
Skilled in both pour-plate and membrane filtration type testing.
Self-Motivated individual with strong Quality Systems experience.
BS in Microbiology, Chemistry or related field.
This is a first shift position, but the individual must be flexible to work different hours occasion.
