Description

Provides support in the planning functions.



Responsibilities
  • Executing production plan changes based on Plants PO’s requirements.
  • Monitoring product flow throughout the different areas to ensure on time delivery to Customer.
  • Preparing Business Unit KPI’s reports. 
  • Communicating timely any relevant issues affecting commitments. 
  • Follow up on non-conforming products. 
  • Monitoring changes affecting capacity/material availability. 
  • Monitoring startup of new products. 
  • Creates schedule plan to achieve a smooth production flow of optical, non-optical and general machined parts (including day-to-day capacity utilization advisory). 
  • Establishes and coordinates priorities with Area Managers, Designers, site planners and team leaders to ensure order fulfillment and proper inventory levels of optical/non-optical tooling. 
  • Determines priorities within Insert/Machine Shop based on projects and spare inventory; communicates schedules and assigns jobs to Tooling Technicians. 
  • Reports any events disrupting flow or equipment performance. 
  • Incorporates one-time activities (tools, jigs, fixtures, prototypes, machine parts). 
  • Incorporates manpower planning aligned to schedules. 
  • Reviews execution plans aligned to Master Plan including RM, Inserts, WIP, FG, scheduling, and WO cycle. 
  • Manages tool and supply usage and reporting. 
  • Supports inventory reconciliation activities. 
  • Prints and publishes monthly MPS. 
  • Ensures compliance with laws and regulations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and/or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Two to four years of experience performing inventory coordination functions and/ or planning functions in a medical device/ pharmaceutical industry.
