Join our Team as a Supply Chain Specialist at Lake Forest Hospital.
Exciting opportunities await as we expand with the opening of our new hospital pavilions at Lake Forest Hospital! We are currently seeking Supply Chain Specialists to support our mission to be a premier integrated academic health system. Our goal is to serve a broad community and provide the best in medicine—including breakthrough treatments and clinical trials—through our affiliation with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
We offer a variety of schedules, including full time (40 hours per week) Day and Evening shifts: 2 openings from 3 AM to 11:30 AM, 2 openings from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and 1 opening from 2 PM to 10:30 PM. The positions require one weekend shift per week (either Saturday or Sunday) from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The Supply Chain Specialist I, Logistics reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Supply Chain Spec I, Logistics performs the daily activities of various tasks within the Supply Chain team including inventory ordering and replenishment, receiving, equipment, linen, and mail. Works in role to meet and exceed established key process indicators (KPI’s). Provides input on inventory level analysis and process improvement initiatives. Assists with communication as directed within the department related to policies, procedures, MDI and standard work methodologies. Work with clinical staff on communication around product changes. Assists all internal customers regarding supply chain logistic issues and communicates with Supply Chain Leadership regarding findings and resolutions.
